Here comes another post from Priyanka guys, today I’ll be
introducing you to the heritage of Punjab, that's 'Golden temple'. It’s a religious place
yet offers a splendid sight for the visitors. When I visited golden temple I was
amazed at the design and the authenticity with which it is made, the building
is all gold plated and is not just a piece of Sikh architecture but also acts
as a symbol of brotherhood as anyone can visit this worship temple.
This place located in the city of Amritsar is
very sublime and peaceful. This picture gives the aerial view of the temple,
and gives you a breath taking view of an amazing piece of architecture. It is
actually a combination of Hindu and Sikh architecture. As you take a round
across the massive area, you’ll realize how the place is structured.
Water brings natural beauty to every place with its purity
and divinity, the golden temple is actually constructed on a lake that is now
structured within the building. The construction of the main chamber of the
temple is done to portray it as a sign of brotherhood, the beauty about it is
that it has four doors which signify four religions, amazing thought isn’t it
But that’s not it this place is spread over a massive area
with different historic temples and small pieces of architecture built around
the lake.
The buildings are a combination of gold and marble. It’s a beautiful
sight at late evenings and early mornings. Worth a visit guys, this is not a
temple but a place that actually tells you stories about the Sikh history.
